The Equestrian Market has really recovered here in the Coachella Valley. Land and horse property is always the last to recover from a Real Estate crash, and the one we had from 07-2011 shook the entire real estate industry. Residential recovers first, followed by Commercial, and finally by Vacant Land and Equestrian Estates.
I started to show my Ranches & Land again in 2012, and SELL them in 2013. Now as we head into the 2016 season, my showings are numerous and regular. As with any type of property, if there are no SOLD comps, it is difficult to assess a property for what the price/acre value is.
