Desert International Horse Park Updates: The details that matter most to horses, their riders and all horse park visitors and attendees are constantly being updated to improve the quality of the venue. DIHP is working like mad to provide the best experience possible for everyone! The footing as all us equestrians know is CRITICAL whether it’s polo, trail riding, jumping or any other horsey activity is everything. This is why every ring on the property has received updated footing, and Jumper 1 as well as the Grand Prix Stadium both have new sand added. Local equestrian and agent, Kim Kelly can help you buy or sell your land, ranch or residential property, give her a call at 760-285-3578.
The Grass Field has had it’s fair share of care as well, including being aerated three times, so it’s ready for the 2027 season. Newly paved roads have been added throughout the park. Horse and human safety were imperative in the creation of well lit, fenced in walkways designed for horse traffic. How about those RV areas??? The Stable rental equestrian RV Resort at DIHP is bigger, and includes better electrical infrastructure. There are also brand new RV’s which have been purchased to provide fresh housing for DIHP crew members.
The development of DIHP’s future home at Thermal Ranch represents an exciting and much needed addition to the equestrian world here in the Coachella Valley. In the mean time, the current DIHP’s ownership team remains committed to investing in the current Desert International Horse Park property and ensuring that it continues to provide a top tier experience to every visitor or competitor to the Coachella Valley’s premier horse jumping venue. Take a look at this incredible 10 acre equestrian facility located on Filmore, a short distance from the DIHP entry. Fenced, with multiple turnouts, a lit arena, horseshow 12 stall barn, container home, and a track for galloping, offered for 3 million.
