For those looking to cool off earlier in the day, the Palm Springs Pavilion will offer special holiday swim hours from 7 am to 3 pm, with a free concert at 5:30 pm in Sunrise Park, featuring the Boys and Girls Club and the Heatwave Jazz and Show Band. The Palm Springs Pavilion is located at 401 S. Pavilion Way.
On Saturday, July 5, the Fantasy Springs Casino will feature a performance by the legendary Art Garfunkel at 8 pm. The Grammy-award winning singer is best known for iconic music as one half of the iconic duo, Simon & Garfunkel. The Fantasy Springs resort is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Drive in Indio. Also on Saturday night, the Spotlight 29 Casino presents Gregory Wolfe / A Celebration of Rod Stewart at 8 pm. Wolfe will perform classics such as “The Way You Look Tonight” and “It’s The Same Old Song,” in a first-class tribute to Stewart. The Spotlight 29 Casino is located at 46200 Harrison Place in Coachella. Both of these venues are favorites of visitors and owners of Palm Springs real estate alike.
On Sunday, July 6, the Arthur Newman Theatre will feature a performance of Angelo Divino in: “Let Me Be Frank” from 3 to 4 pm. The show chronicles 50 years of Sinatra’s career with his hits as well as the highs and lows of his personal life.
