HITS Thermal show update: Horses and their people are preparing for the 2024/2025 season here in the Coachella Valley. The Desert Horse Park is preparing the grounds, stalls and arenas for a ton of competition! The end of 2024 will be ushering in the beginning of the HITS show season here in the Coachella Valley. The season officially begins with the Sunshine League. There are two series.
Series 1: 10/30 to 11/3
Series 2: 11/6 to 11/10
Then the Sunshine League is followed by the Desert Holiday series.
Desert Holiday 1: 12/4 to 12/8
Desert Holiday 2: 12/10 to 12/15.
Be sure to come out and see the classes. The horses are gorgeous, the riders are serious, but fun, and there are lots of booths to spend your money in. There is a very small fee to park and enter, for the entire day. Take the tour of one of my new La Quinta listings, and if you’re in town, stop in for the OPEN HOUSE, which is Sunday 10/6 from 12 to 3 pm. The entry is off of Avenue 52, perfect for equestrians as it’s a direct shot to the HITS showgrounds, and around the corner from the POLO grounds.
