About The Indian Palms Neighborhood
Indian Palms Country Club and Resort has a ton of history behind it. In the 1930’s, Floyd Odlum (owner of RKO pictures) and his wife, Jackie Cochran, (a world famous pilot) purchased the 640 acre parcel of land for less than $100/acre! They built THE RANCH HOUSE, which is still at the Club, (now called The Celebrity House.) Indian Palms is located in the Western end of Indio, off of Monroe Avenue. Interstate 10 is about a 15 minute drive North on Monroe, so very easy access to downtown Palm Springs. The Internationally famous Polo Clubs – Eldorado and Empire, are both about 5 minutes away which also means you are a short hop to the Coachella Music & Art Festival in April! The HITS horseshow entry is approx. a 15 minute drive.
Indian Palms is unique in that it has it all..even a 59 room boutique Hotel on the property! Stay one night, or buy your second condo or home, and stay for the season. The onsite restaurant offers lunch and dinner in the Clubhouse, which is located near the entrance to Indian Palms CC.
