La Quinta Restaurants; 5 favorite Happy Hour Spots! Being a year round “Local”, in our desert cities, gives a person a leg up as to the best Happy Hours. Then again, we all have different tastes. I love the winters here in the Coachella Valley for the obvious reasons..the warmth, and the winter Activities. I also love it when the Snowbird, Coachella Music Festival Attendees, and Vacation Residents head back home. When our Seasonal people leave, it’s time to slow down in La Quinta, enjoy the Golf Discounts at the La Quinta Golf courses, and hit the Happy Hours!
Here are 5 of my favorite La Quinta Restaurant Happy Hour Spots: Happy Hour Menus usually are served from 4-6 pm.
- Cork-n-Fork Winebar: This little “Hole in the wall”, offers a great happy hour Menu. Pizza and Salads, small plates. Also offers bottles of wine off the Menu for 1/2 price (ask your waiter). Small and intimate, the Baristo, Catherine, will let you know the specials. They do close for a few weeks in the Summer. Ave. 48 & Caleo Bay.
- The Cliffhouse: Open year round, this popular restaurant sitting on a “cliff” at the Point Happy section of town, (111 & Washington), is always jammin. Indoor, Bar or outdoor Patio seating, friendly staff, good Happy Hour deals!
- Okuras: If you like Sushi, this is the La Quinta place. Open all summer, solid deals at Happy Hour, not particularly friendly waiters, but good service. I’m vegetarian, and there are plenty of options..Cucumber salad, Seaweed Salad, Garlic soybeans..Point Happy corner of 111/Washington.
- Stuft Pizza: This Sports Bar themed restaurant in Old Town La Quinta, is always friendly, buzzin, and even has great Take Out. A year round draw, their Happy hour is very good. Indoor, outdoor or Bar dining.
- Lavender Bistro: Not that easy to find, hidden on the outskirts of Old Town, but worth the hunt! Indoor, outdoor and Bar dining, live music, and a desert vibe. I love their sweet squash Ravioli and Beet Salad.
Spend a day looking at homes in beautiful La Quinta. Golf course homes, or non-golf course homes. Then hit one of our local restaurants for Happy Hour!
