This Wednesday, November 5, the Living Desert will host its first ever Wild Pride Party in association with Greater Palm Springs Pride. The event features music by Master DJ Luc Benech, a special appearance by Bella da Ball, food and signature Pride drinks. The event takes place from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at the Stephen B. Chase Administration Building and will benefit both Greater Palm Springs Pride and The Living Desert. Tickets to this one-of-a-kind party cost $30. If you are considering homes for sale in Indian Wells, the nearby Living Desert is a unique wildlife zoo and botanical garden that you have to see in person.
On Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm, Jeff Harnar will perform at the Annenberg Theater. The winner of the 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award, Mr. Harnar is a renowned performer with a portfolio of high-profile engagements throughout New York, including Weill Recital Hall, The Algonquin Hotel, Feinstein’s at The Regency, Off-Broadway at 59e59 Theaters and Carnegie Hall, among others. He was also the artistic director and host of the three seasons of The American Songbook in London at The Jermyn Street Theatre and Pizza on The Park. He also currently tours nationally with Shauna Hicks in their symphony “Pops” concert I Got Rhythm: Mickey & Judy’s Hollywood. In addition, Mr. Harnar has received three Back Stage Bistro Awards and three MAC Awards.
Also on Wednesday, the McCallum Theatre will feature a performance of Three Steinways…Six Hands, which includes Three Virginia Waring International Piano Competition winners performing Bach, Gershwin and Saint-Säens. The show takes place from 7 pm to 9 pm.
