The 2016 Polo Season is almost OVER! Seems like it just started, but this upcoming weekend is the LAST weekend of Polo at both the Eldorado and Empire Polo Clubs in Indio, California. Both clubs have been busy and the 2016 season has been a success. As the rigs and horses leave for rest, players, their families and grooms pack up their tackrooms. Next up for our International Polo Clubs? The Coachella Music Festival, which is immediately followed by the Stagecoach Festival. Real Estate has seen an up and down season. My Equestrian Listings have actually garnered the most interest..both high and low valley. Tally Ranch at 55075 Monroe St., along with my 5, 10 and 20 acre local farms have all been shown frequently. Offers have come in, but Sellers, as with residential properties just aren’t lowering their prices! If you’re thinking about finishing up the season with some house/property hunting, give me a call at 760-285-3578.
Friday night at the Eldorado Polo Clubs’ popular Cantina is the End of the Season Gala. But before that, the 12 goal Skins Games continues their playoffs with 4 teams competing. This last weekend is a blast! Sunday will feature two Finals. The 8-goal Finals will be played Sunday at noon, followed by the Skins Finals at 2 pm. It’s going to be a busy day so get there and stake out your spot early!
Over at the Empire Polo Club right next door, Finals are also underway. This upcoming weekend will see the 4, 6 & 8-goal Finals played off. Another great season at the Empire Polo Club!
As soon as everyone..ponies, their grooms’, professionals and their families head out of town, or to rest in nearby pastures, the REAL party begins. The Coachella Music Festival is already partly underway at both clubs. The past week has seen lots of Tent construction, portable potties are popping up everywhere, and chain link fences have appeared overnight! It’s incredible how fast the two clubs are transformed from Polo Fields to the Music Festival grounds. I have my Stagecoach Tickets and am getting ready to par-tay! Before heading out, I’ll be showing my 10 acre Date farm at 85624 Middleton in Thermal, California. Take the tour here, then give me a call at 760-285-3578.
