I am finding that as I show potential buyers/investors properties in the desert area cities, there are certain areas that really stick out as opportunities for investment properties in the Coachella Valley. The Music Festivals have added so much fame to our Valley, that it’s hard to remember that NOBODY even knew where Indio/East Valley was , (other than polo people), before the Festivals!
The most popular area for Luxury Lease properties right now may very well be La Quintas’ PGA West. Why? Because it’s a gorgeous, HOA maintained 6 golf course club that still offers nightly, weekly or daily rentals. PGA consists of 1200 acres, 4 public and 2 golf courses, multiple club houses, tennis, but most of all various price points amongst it’s condos, single family residences or custom homes. It’s close to the polo/festival grounds, HITS horse show grounds, about 5 minutes from Old Town or the La Quinta Resort & Spa, and about 10 minutes from Theatres, Trader Joes, Target and groceries. Prices range from Condos at $300,000 to 1 mil or so. 4 and 5 bedroom homes are available from approx. $600,000 – approx. $1,500,000.
