Whether you’re in town on vacation, to visit family and friends or view Indio real estate, it seems like there is always something vibrant happening in this charming town. During the last two weekends, Indio’s own Empire Polo Club hosted the world famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2014, which featured world class performers ranging from Pharell Williams, Calvin Harris and Lorde to Outkast, Muse and AFI, among many other notable musicians.
This weekend, the equally renowned Stagecoach Festival will be in full swing. The three-day event also takes place at the Empire Polo Club—an absolute must-see for those interested in Indio real estate, as the popular venue is the site for many incredible concerts and the much-anticipated, action-packed polo season each year.
This year’s Stagecoach Festival features a wide range of musical acts that will entertain even the most discerning of country fans. In addition to legends such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Crystal Gale, a bevy of amazing artists will take the stage throughout the weekend. Some of these fabulous country artists include The Whiskey Shivers, Chris Cagle, Ashley Monroe, Wanda Jackson, Blacksmith Boys, Sarah Haze, Luke Bryan, Spirit Family Reunion, Brantley Gilbert, Charlie Worsham, Corb Lund, Sleepy Man Banjo Boys, Susanna Hoffs, Lera Lynn, Shelby Lynne, Michael Nesmith, The Wailin’ Jennys, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Calico the Band, Asleep at the Wheel, Shakey Graves, Shelly Colvin, Tyler Farr, Shovels and Hope, The Seldom Scene, Lindsay Ell, Trampled by Turtles, Willie Watson, Nocona and The Wild Feathers.
The three-day festival starts Friday, April 25 and continues through Sunday, April 27. The family-friendly event also features attractions for all ages such as the PlayStation Experience, a ferris wheel, appearances by the Budweiser Clydesdales, the Half-Pint Hootenanny presented by the Girls Scouts & Boy Scouts, the Toyota Drive Center and the Barefoot Refresh Zone, among many other cool things to do.
