What’s selling at Montage in Indio?  Formally known as Montage at Santa Rosa, this gated, non golf community of 150 homes built by GHA, off of the beautiful Avenue 49 in West Indio, has low HOA, allows STVR’s, lots are generous, and there are 4 architectural styles, including Tuscan and Contemporary.  A favorite for investors, and seasonal homeowners, the community is near to the polo grounds, and has high walkability.  Local agent, Kim Kelly, 760-285-3578.

Indio, the hub bub of the valley.  So, when I came to the desert in the mid 80’s there was a jingle that played on the radio that went like this..”Indio, it’s the hub bub of the Valley..it’s Indio, Indio, Inn-d-oh”.  We used to laugh like mad at this because at that time for all intents and purpose, Indio, was NOT the hub bub.  It was the arm pit of the valley.  Fast forward to now, and the city of Indio is being revitalized, it’s a true Renaissance.  If you are looking to buy or sell in the Coachella Valley, give local resident and agent, Kim Kelly a call at 760-285-3578.

The cultural city of Indio is incentivizing local businesses to open in the downtown area.  Local favorites like Desert Beer Co., and Gabinos Creperie, along with Little Street Music Hall will all open up locations in downtown Indio!  The City owning all of those properties is really the biggest incentive that they were able to use for most of the businesses, and they kind of custom-built the plans for each of the businesses that you see moving in.

The City has an area called “The Opportunity Zone,” which includes downtown. Within the zone, the City offers deferred and reduced taxes and, in some cases, up to 10 years. Also, a beautification program gives businesses up to $50,000 to remodel.
