- Thunderbird Country Club: Let’s give credit where it’s due. From Frank Bogarts’ dude ranch called Thunderbird Ranch in the mid 40’s, to what is now known as the home of Coachella Valley golf. Opened in 1951 it is rumored to be the first Country club to offer home sites for sale as well as the introduction of the motorized golf cart! Homes from approx. 1.5 to 6 mil.
- Tamarisk Country Club: Located in Rancho Mirage, and opened in 1952, the name is drawn from the indigenous Tamarisk Trees. Founding members were Jack Benny, George Burns, Danny Kaye, and 4 of the 5 Marx Brothers. Frank Sinatra lived the last 4 decades of his life at the club. Homes at the club range from approx. $700,000 to $5 mil.
- La Quinta Country Club: Located near Old Town La Quinta, and the La Quinta Hotel and Spa, this iconic club, opened in 1959. Offering condos and single family homes, it is now a private equity club. Condos from approx. $600,000 and single family homes from approx. $700,000 to $4 million.
