In honor of the Mayan Calendar officially ending this Friday, there will be a Doomsday Party at the Stephen Archdeacon Gallery in the heart of the Palm Springs uptown design district from 6 to 9 pm. Also beginning on Friday the 21st is the annual Jewish Soulstice Weekend with LA Exodus. The event takes place at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club through December 23 and is presented by East Side Jews, The Jewish Federation, JCC Without Walls and the Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center. The weekend will include a gathering of the tribe with comedy, music, rituals, hiking, yoga and other great activities. If you’ve just spent the week viewing real estate in Indian Wells or the surrounding areas, it’s the perfect way to unwind while getting to know the community.
