New housing in La Quinta, CA. La Quinta is growing! Most of our other Coachella Valley cities are built out, or nearly, but La Quinta in our more Easterly part of the valley is primed to boom. I sold new homes the first 4 years of my real estate career, in 2001-2005. There are several opportunities to purchase from standing inventory in La Quinta right now. Diamonte on Avenue 52, just east of the traffic circle, Carmela on Monroe St. just South of Avenue 52, and further South are several new home communities on Avenue 58. Piazza Serena, and 2 new communities by The Quarry. Now, there is a proposal for 80 new homes on the corner of Monroe and Ae. 58.
Avenue 58 appears to be the newest area for new home communities. Montage Hotel at SilverRock to break ground spring of 2021..hope so!
Montage Hotel at SilverRock, what’s up? Living in La Quinta, I am often asked and I wonder myself..what’s going on with the Montage Hotel development at the SilverRock Golf Course? We keep getting updates that it is going to break ground in the spring of this year. I can say that there is definitely construction going on in Jefferson St. They had that dug up for several months while they were installing underground improvements for the project. The Actual SilverRock Development does have a projected opening of late 2022.
The 134 room hotel is the cornerstone of the $400 million SilverRock Golf Resort development. Plans also include a 200 room Pendry luxury hotel, also under the Montage brand, a spa, shared convention and event center, residential condos and a second golf course. COVID has really hit the hospitality industry as we all know, but it looks like 2021 could be the ground breaker!
The montage Hotel is expected to take about 21 months to complete. Design plans have been submitted and approved for the planned Montage and Pendry residential condominiums and sale are better than expected the developer says. The market is about the same for 2018 and 2019 throughout our coachella valley cities.
