What’s selling in the La Quinta cove?  When I first started coming to the desert in the 80’s, I always rented a house in the La Quinta cove.  There were still chickens hustling down the streets, people were always out and about.  The La Quinta Cove has really come up in the world of Coachella Valley real estate!  The homes are still reasonably priced compared to most other areas of the valley, but they are no longer cheap.  Many of the old homes have been re habilitated or remodeled, and it’s now an eclectic neighborhood that is very well loved by locals and visitors.  Call local agent, Kim Kelly for your free property consultation, 760-285-3578.

There are approximately 1200 homes that make up the entire La Quinta Cove.  One of the prettiest coves in the desert, it is encircled by a bike path, there are multiple trails that are easily accessible, and some really cute properties.  The average lot size is small at 4792 sf, but some of the lots are double at over 10,000 sf, and there are even a dozen or so triple lots of approx. 15,000 sf.  The Santa Fe style home is perhaps the most requested architectural style in the cove, though the mid century moderns and the brand new builds are catching up!
