HITS and Polo Updates: The 2019 Season is coming to a close for both our two Coachella Valley Polo Clubs, Eldorado and Empire. If you don’t do polo, but are of the Hunter/jumper persuasion, 2019 is a Thermal HITS wrap, but 2020 is just around the corner. It’s a great time to look at Equestrian properties, both farms and vacant land. Call Kim Kelly, local Equestrian and realtor 760-285-3578.
The equestrian population in the Coachella Valley greatly declines during the summers, BUT there is still summer polo to be played! The amazing Empire Polo Club, in Indio, CA., aptly managed by Vicki Owens, offers easy access to polo even in the heat. We play 5 days/week, Wednesday through Sunday at 8 a.m. June, July and August..can you believe it?? The Club also offers stabling for the summer players, and the Tackroom Tavern is open for service starting at 3 pm daily. 2019 Empire polo will continue through December, then on to the 2020 season!
The HITS Thermal Horseshow will start seeing horses arrive back into the Coachella Valley about end of November through December. It is one of my busiest times for showing Land and Farms because between competing, horse show people are looking at Homes for their horses…and their grooms and families! Land in the Coachella Valley is still a deal, ranging from approx. $30,000/acre raw to $150,000/acre improved with barn facilities. Take the tour below of the BEST value for a 20 acre working Thermal horse farm available right now. 20 Acres, fenced, gated, 2 useable homes, Well and CVWD for irrigation, and approx. 5 minutes from the show grounds. Best buy at $1,500,000..
