Summer Sales are Sizzling in the Coachella Valley! I know it’s not because the air temperatures have cooled down because we are pretty much guaranteed triple digits every day. I suspect it’s more a leveling out of all the negative news from the first quarter of 2016..crashing oil prices, Asian Stock Market crash, Canadian dollar crash, and we cannot forget that it’s an election year. All these things combined to help buyers put on the brakes for the first Q of 2016. The second Q was smokin however, for our Coachella Valley summer sales, and the third Quarter summer sales are starting out the same. Desert Home Sales jumped approx. 12% in June. I’m finding that all my listings are getting activity, or are in escrow, from the ultra affordable Condos below $100,000 – luxury Equestrian estates at 3-4 million.
