Festivals coming up next weekend in the Coachella Valley. Indio is formally known as our desert “City of Festivals.”, but our desert should really be called “The Valley of the Festivals.” We all know by now of the magnitude of the Coachella Music Festival, followed by the Stagecoach Festival in April. I suppose the success of these Festivals, along with the original Indio Date Festival, has just naturally dovetailed into Festival this, and Festival that. No matter..this coming weekend, is a weekend of Festivals to kick off our follow up to Halloween, and intro to Thanksgiving Celebrations in the Coachella Valley.….

Polo in the Coachella Valley; What’s the BIG deal? When I came to the desert over 30 years ago, I was a groom, hoping to one day be able to play polo professionally. I was overwhelmed by the scope of the Eldorado Polo Club at that time. It seemed to my eyes, that the fields went on and on, horses were everywhere, and Polo was the Valley’s Sport! What a dummy. In my small world of Polo and horses, EVERYONE knew about the club. Coachella Valley Music Festival Homes for Sale. Today the line up for the Stagecoach Festival 2016 part of the Coachella Valley Music Festival was announced. It’s another good one! Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood are two of the headliners. It’s not too early to start thinking about where you’re going to stay when you come to the Festival this coming year.
