What IS an Equestrian Property Specialist??? Being a “Specialist” in anything usually means that person knows more about that subject than most of the rest of us do. To call myself a Short Sale Specialist, I had to get the required certifications, attend classes, but most of all…I had to List, negotiate and CLOSE dozens and dozens of Short Sales. I did. What does it require to call yourself an Equestrian Property Specialist? Years of experience with Horses first and foremost. There is simply NO way to learn about what a horse woman requires to maintain a horse properly, other than to live it. I made my living as a professional Polo Player for 18 years, basing my horse operations out of our local Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California.

Polo and HITS update. Summer is winding down, the weather is cooling, and the polo fields are under attack!! Desert Trip is about here, and the two polo clubs, Empire and Eldorado, are both construction sites! Trucks, fences, tents, workers…everywhere. The Empire Polo club will begin it’s 2017 season officially on January 1, with polo tournaments every weekend after that. The Eldorado Polo Club, which is right next door, also begins it’s season in January. While both Polo clubs are rocking and rolling with Polo games, the nearby HITS Horseshow grounds in Thermal, are preparing their grounds for the influx of horses and trainers.

Empire Polo Club offers summer Polo
Polo in Indio, CA. in the summer. Well, yesterday was 120 degrees here in the Coachella Valley, and today looks to be about the same. Now, today there is a cloud cover, but it is still HOT! Our local summer Polo still rages on at the Empire Polo Club, in Indio, California. Chukkars are played Wednesday through Sunday, starting at 7:30 a.m. Most of the players are trainers on young horses learning the game, or players that need the chukkars to improve their games. Both Eldorado & Empire Polo Clubs are ending their 2016 seasons.
The 2016 Polo Season is almost OVER! Seems like it just started, but this upcoming weekend is the LAST weekend of Polo at both the Eldorado and Empire Polo Clubs in Indio, California. Both clubs have been busy and the 2016 season has been a success. As the rigs and horses leave for rest, players, their families and grooms pack up their tackrooms. Next up for our International Polo Clubs? The Coachella Music Festival, which is immediately followed by the Stagecoach Festival. Real Estate has seen an up and down season. My Equestrian Listings have actually garnered the most interest..both high and low valley. Tally Ranch at 55075 Monroe St., along with my 5, 10 and 20 acre local farms have all been shown frequently.
