Equestrian Living in the High Desert, California is alive and well! Land prices/acre have remained lower than the low desert cities of Palm Springs, Bermuda Dunes, and Indio. The high desert cities of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree land and equestrian property prices, are about on a par with the Hemet and Garner Valley areas. Our rural Eastern Valley cities of Coachella, Thermal and Vista Santa Rosa are still leading the charge in recent Sales for Equestrian Properties. That uptick is expected to continue as we head into season and our Equestrian competitors return for their POLO and HITS horse show jumping events.
What drives interested buyers to our cooler high desert cities? The temperature number one as it is typically about 15 degrees cooler year round than the low desert floor.
