We pretty much all thought, “In Indio…who’s going to come all the way to Indio?” Look at us now! La Quinta Neighborhood of the Week; The Citrus. The beautiful Citrus Golf Club in central La Quinta remains a favorite for Buyers seeking a gated, La Quinta Golf Course Community. Entry gates are manned, and there are two of them for easy access. Desert Club Estates in La Quinta, Calif. This is a very unique neighborhood. It’s location is brillliant, tucked behind The Citrus Golf Club and across the street from The Tradition Golf Club. Put on your tennis, grab your bike, or jump into your Golf Cart and head to Silver Rock Resort, Arnold Palmers’ Restaurant, Old Town La Quinta, Fritz Burns park for a game of Tennis. Behind the wall on the corner of Washington and 52nd lies this non-gated, non-golf course community with NO monthly HOA’s!
What I love the best about this “hole in the wall” desert community, is the location. You can literally walk across Washington at Tampico, and head to the La Quinta Library, take a Yoga class at the Yoga studio, take a stroll through the park like grounds of the La Quinta Civic Center, hit the new Wellness Center, or head on to Old town La Quinta to shop or grab a meal. Biking is another way to get around. If you want exercise, head across 52nd to the Fritz Burns Park, where there are public Tennis courts, a public Pool, or watch the kids in the Skate Park. Hiking? Just head up Bermudas to the Top of the Cove, where there are several Trail heads, and head out. Golf at the public Silverrock course, or several nearby other public golf courses.

Holidays are just around the corner, Listings are becoming more plentiful, and the over seeding of our Golf Courses and Polo Fields is raging! If you have been thinking of buying on a Golf Course in La Quinta, be sure to check out The Citrus Golf Club.
Buying on a Golf Course can sometimes mean you HAVE to purchase a membership. You don’t at The Citrus. The Citrus Golf Club has it’s own private Pete Dye course, and a recently remodeled clubhouse with fitness center, but The Citrus is also part of the La Quinta Hotel Club & Spa. That means that it is possible to use the amenities at the La Quinta Spa, and play the public courses. One of the things I hear often from buyers that I show The Citrus Golf Club to is, “The HOA’s are so reasonable!” The monthly Homeowners association is only $335/month. Very reasonable for a Golf Course development in La Quinta.

Topping our most recent Luxury Market Sales is a home in South Palm Springs. This home was listed one day before it was scooped up! Listed at $2,100,000, and boasting 4 bedrooms/5 bathrooms in approx. 4,658 sf, it SOLD for $1,950,000 CASH. This property was located in the Old Las Palmas area of South Palm Springs. This particular area is often referred to as “The Beverly Hills” of Palm Springs. Homes that come up in this prime area do not sit for long!

Madison Club; La Quinta Market Update: The Madison Club in La Quinta is THE Club if you’re looking for super exclusive, and ultra secure.
